Rose for Agents is in early access. Ask your Rose account manager to take part.

Overview

People increasingly ask an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to research, compare and buy software for them. Rose for Agents is a connector that these assistants install once. Through it, an assistant can question your Rose agent directly, see what you sell and, if you connect your systems, try your product, sign up and pay without anyone visiting your website.

The assistant treats your agent as a source: it asks precise questions, compares the answers with other vendors, and tells the person what your agent said.

Your agent answers assistants from the same knowledge and guidelines as on your website, so anything you improve for your visitors also improves what assistants hear.

Your Rose account manager publishes your listing with you:

  • Plans and prices: what you sell, the price of each plan and the page the prices come from. Rose drafts them from your knowledge base and your team reviews them before they are published.
  • Sign-up link: where a person creates an account or requests a demo.

Assistants read the published plans as they are, so keep them in step with your pricing page. For any other question (terms, security, limits), they ask your agent.

To let an assistant try, buy and use your product on its own, your team hosts a few endpoints that Rose calls on the person's behalf: a trial, account creation, checkout, access and use. Every call is signed by Rose and names a person who signed in to Rose with a verified email, so the accounts you create always have an accountable owner.

Does this change my website widget? No. Rose for Agents uses your existing Rose agent; nothing changes on your website.

Who is the person behind an assistant? Someone who signed in to Rose with Google. Their email is verified; Rose passes it to you only when they create an account with you.

Can an assistant pay without the person agreeing? Assistants are instructed to ask the person before any paid checkout.
