Install Rose on a custom HTML site

If you control your site's HTML, add the Rose widget directly.

Steps

  1. Open your site's HTML template — ideally a shared layout so the snippet appears on every page.
  2. Paste this snippet just before the closing </body> tag. Replace YOUR_API_KEY with the key from your Rose account:

    <!-- Rose -->
    <script src="https://cdn.userose.ai/loader/rose-loader.js"></script>
    <script>
      window.InboundXLoader.init({
        api_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY',
        api_host: 'https://api.userose.ai',
        cdn_url: 'https://cdn.userose.ai/widget/production',
      });
    </script>

  3. Deploy your site.

Tip

Put the snippet in a shared header/footer include so you only maintain it in one place.

Verify

Open your site — the Rose bar appears at the bottom. See Widget Installation for all options, including the dynamic-loading method and every configuration flag.
