AI models used by Rose¶
For Rose, EU model residency means processing and storage within the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. This includes OpenAI's Europe region.
The two lists below show current models, the agents that use them, and their regions. Each model/provider combination has its own row. The lists refresh automatically whenever the documentation is built.
The backoffice option to apply this boundary to all model calls is planned.

Additional models¶
Models Rose may use by default that are not EU-resident. A planned strict EU model residency option will restrict model calls to the EU (EEA + Switzerland) deployments listed above, so these additional models would not be used. Because it excludes faster or stronger non-EU models, strict residency can increase response latency and, for some tasks, reduce answer or output quality.

About the regions¶
OpenAI EU supports regional processing and storage in the EEA and Switzerland for supported models and eligible projects. Rose uses its European endpoint, which fits the geographic boundary of the EU option. OpenAI region documentation.
Azure labels describe Rose's configured resource locations; processing scope depends on the deployment settings. Rose's Azure chat and embedding deployments use European Data Zone Standard processing with storage in Germany West Central. Azure region documentation.
Agent names include their shared knowledge and support services. Primary and fallback models are included; account-specific overrides and developer evaluation tools are excluded. Proposed providers and migrations are excluded until implemented.
