Install Rose with Google Tag Manager¶
Add the Rose widget through Google Tag Manager (GTM) — no code changes on your site.
Steps¶
- In Google Tag Manager, open your container and go to Tags → New.
- Click Tag Configuration → Custom HTML.
-
Paste this block (it loads Rose from a single tag). Replace
YOUR_API_KEYwith the key from your Rose account:<script> (function () { var s = document.createElement('script'); s.src = 'https://cdn.userose.ai/loader/rose-loader.js'; s.onload = function () { window.InboundXLoader.init({ api_key: 'YOUR_API_KEY', api_host: 'https://api.userose.ai', cdn_url: 'https://cdn.userose.ai/widget/production', }); }; document.head.appendChild(s); })(); </script> -
Under Triggering, choose All Pages so Rose loads on every page.
- Save, then Submit → Publish the container.
Verify¶
Open your site in a new tab — the Rose bar appears at the bottom. If it doesn't, check that the tag's trigger is All Pages and that the container is published.
See Widget Installation for all options and the Widget Public API.
